Youth Ministry
Leader:

S.U.R.F. Student Ministries exists to ignite our students’ passion for the glory of God. We want to assist students in knowing and worshiping Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Our desire is to equip students so that they can connect our cultures to the love and Grace of Christ.

Our purpose is to have Students United in Redeeming Faith through a personal, life-saving relationship with Jesus Christ and to challenge this generation to stand up for the cause of Christ and become sold-out Disciples on fire for the love of Jesus in them while bringing others into that same love through the power of the Holy Spirit within each of us.

S.W.A.R.M. Leadership Team

Each student ministry is made up of so many diverse personalities and abilities and desires and the youth leadership team is made up of students that are called out to be servants of those in this youth group.  They are called out to serve new students, reach out to other students, and to break down cliques that rise up within the youth group. They are committed to taking ownership of this youth group and making sure that their standards match that of a leader.  They are called upon to lead other students in Worship and Discipleship.  They are committed to seeing this youth group grow in the knowledge and power of Christ and seeing other students come to know Christ and to make Him known. Every student is encouraged to consider being a part of Student Leadership.

A Personal Note From Me:

As the youth minister at Southside, my desire is to challenge students to become true Disciples of Jesus Christ and sold-out believers in a world in need of a Savior.  I would ask that you would pray for us as we strive to become strengthened and changed into the image of Christ our Savior and break down the walls of separation into a compassionate, Christ-centered, unconditionally loving group of students with Christ as our Heart's Cry.

Grace and Peace.
