Leader: Stacie Bowman
Awana Clubs
Awana teaches kids that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. Kids also learn how God can help them in their daily lives. Lessons from the Bible teach them how to honor God in a sinful world.
The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. This is the end result, but the method is FUN! Since 1950, churches have used Awana to reach children. It is a proven way for churches to train leadership and bring the message of salvation to their communities.
Each Wednesday night three segments provide start-to-finish adventure in every meeting. Each segment has its own purpose, but all of them are fun.
Hallelujah Kidz
Our Children's Choir called "Hallelujah Kidz" meets on Tuesday afternoons after school. The K - 2nd grade group meets from 3:00 to 4:00 PM and the 3rd - 6th grade group meets from 4:00-5:00 PM. Children are picked up at school by the church van and brought to the church.
Extended Session
"Extended Session" for our 2 and 3 year olds is offered during the 11:00 Worship Service. Two and three year olds enjoy planned activities to build on what they learn in Sunday School.
Kid's Own Worship
Children ages 4, 5, 6 are invited to "Kid's Own Worship" during the 11:00 Worship Service. Children go to "big church" with their parents until they are dismissed to "Kids Own Worship." This is a worship experience designed especially for children of this age group.
